Events
As a public
service, the Mount Shasta
Amateur Radio Club is proud to provide communications and other
support services for the following annual events:
- Mt.
Shasta Fourth of July Celebration -- July 4th
Location: Downtown Mt. Shasta City
On July 4th, communications support is provided to monitor the walk-run course.
Club members have
also provided security watch duties for the Street Fair booths during the nighttime hours in the days surrounding the July 4th
activities.
- Mt.
Shasta Summit Century Bicycle Ride -- First Sunday in August
Location: Multiple areas throughout the greater Mt. Shasta
area
Members of the Mt. Shasta Amateur Radio Club staff a net
control, a mobile support vehicle, and over a half dozen checkpoints throughout the greater Mt. Shasta area to
provide communications for the Summit Century Bicycle Ride.

- Mt.
Shasta Tinman Triathlon -- Sunday of Labor Day weekend
Location: Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort and vicinity
Communications support is provided along the route to monitor health &
safety of the participants.
Many volunteers are
always needed to support these events.
