We all have something to learn about amateur radio, even those who have lived long, prospered, had the most amazing contacts, or who have lost a few nerve endings while experimenting.

License Testing:

The Mount Shasta Amateur Radio Club (MSARC) maintains an active team of Volunteer Examiners who are certified through Laurel VEC to proctor the FCC Licensing Exams for all levels of amateur radio licensing.

Tests are given at the clubhouse on the second Saturday of odd numbered months (please check the club calendar for the specific dates in January, March, May, July, September, and November).  We ask you to, please, pre-register for any testing you would like. Walk-ins are not accepted.

There is no fee to test with MSARC.  That’s right, you can test for free, that’s $0 down, and $0 due at testing!

At this time, MSARC is not offering classes to the general public, as we are actively engaged in teaching a ham radio licensing class at Sisson Elementary School.  If you are interested in classes when they come available, please contact the club and we will keep you updated as to future classes.
